is a lot of very dry vegetation. that is bad news for all of the firefighters. there seem the winds are a little stronger but temperatures are very on par with what we a seen the bay area. the high and san francisco 73 degrees is about 9 degrees warmer them where we should be for this time of year. we're lucky if we see 60s in the area. santa rosa, 87 and that is 15 degrees warmer than normal. livermore with an afternoon high of 91. 49 right now in vallejo, daly city checking at 54 degrees. a pretty cool to mild start but we will talk about the warm-up and show you the seven day forecast in just a couple of minutes. >> traffic is still very busy on the east shore freeway and it is one of

kron 4 news >> good morning the big stories we're following, a fire in southern california continuing to threaten thousands of homes. people have been evacuated and the temperatures are high, the winds are high and we will show you the very latest on the fire fight as we have a crew headed out to help. >> take a look at some of the forecast of eyes and how much warmer we are compared to the seasonal average. livermore 91 degrees, that is 18 degrees warmer than it should be for this time of year. downtown san francisco is cooler than yesterday but with temperatures in the low '70's, it looks like it could be nine degrees warmer than what we are used to ferry and we normally see mid-60s for this time of year, current conditions are reworking things up. 72 in

oakland, upper 60s and livermore. more on your current temperature is an afternoon highs and also talking about the weekend cool down and the possibility for some showers coming up in just a couple of minutes. >> no hot spots are major problems for you the we do see some slow traffic on 1 01 as you work your way out of san francisco by way of the golden gate bridge. there is a stall out truck on 1 01 northbound after the toll plaza. it has been blocking for about 40 minutes in bridge crews are on scene. they cannot remove it because they need a special big rig truck to get that done. it is backing up a little on two-part city northbound as you approach the toll plaza. once you get on the bridge, the golden gate is nice and light in both directions. we will keep an eye on this stall and let you know when crews will get it cleared. >> going back to the wild fire out and efforts to contain this toward the pacific. it is about 20 mi. away from mallow though and

teacher and shocked by the news. in livermore, police arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a child. police and not saying they believe there might be more victims. joshua rojas was taken to santa rita jail on charges of lewd acts with a child under 14 years old. his arrest came following a sexual assault and investigation in livermore during the month of march. detectives concluded the case on wednesday. police would not say how the victim you rojas but they did say the victim was an acquaintance. investigators of the boston bombing attack are saying that the surviving suspect j.r. stark havjahar tsarnaev isg the fbi that he and his brother considered tracking on the fourth of july. however, the to change their minds after finishing work on the bonds faster than expected. the fbi says they
